Mariko Amekodommo uses food to change everything — how people connect, how they see themselves, how they remember a night.

She forged her own path — through Hollywood kitchens, the world's biggest brands, and the ancient food traditions of India. She is, simply, unlike anyone you've met before.

Mariko built her first career in Los Angeles, cooking privately for cultural icons — David Lynch, Jared Leto, and the names that defined that world. While other chefs stayed in their kitchens, she was already thinking about something bigger.

She went on to produce culinary experiences for some of the world's most recognized brands — Airbnb, HBO, Beats by Dre, Novartis, Danone, and Dole among them. Not catering. Not events. Experiences that became the thing people talked about for years.

In India, she trained in Ayurvedic cooking as a foreigner in the birthplace of the practice. It was there she understood something she'd always felt but never had language for: food is never separate from culture, and culture is never separate from who we become.

Now based in Prague, she hosts private culinary experiences for travelers and clients who fly in from around the world — and produces corporate and brand experiences across Europe and beyond. After 2,400+ events across four continents, one thing has never changed: the most important thing that happens at her table has nothing to do with the food.

"The most important conversations of your life probably happened around food. The deal that changed everything. The moment a team finally clicked. The night a stranger became someone you'd never forget.

That's not an accident. That's what the right table does."
