The best prickly pear margarita. ever.

It is February, which is an odd month for weather in LA: one moment its 80 and sunny, the next its raining and cold. This week its freezing, and I began to despise it even more, when I saw fresh prickly pears at my local Mexican market. Prickly pear always gives me visions of hot pink margaritas poolside, with snacks of chorizo tapas… ah, the good life!  Just because its cold doesn’t mean I can’t turn up the heater and pour myself a frosty one.
