One of my favorite foods is fresh oysters!! They are really high in vitamins and protein, and virtually have no fat or calories. On the rare occasions I do buy them whole, I wish I had more patience and skills to shuck them.
My friend Stephanie has just begun exploring food and cooking, and I learned there are many things she’s never tried before, including oysters. We bought a half dozen and had my husband do the shucking (last time I ended up in urgent care with stitches) and wished we could enjoy them daily! My favorite way to eat them is with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and hot sauce; out of my 30+ varieties, I opted for the Tapatio. Absolutely refreshing and healthy and delicious!
